Warranty

The product purchased is subject to a Limited Warranty issued by Tide Craft Boats. The specific terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions, and duration of coverage are set forth in this Agreement and incorporated herein by reference. The Buyer acknowledges receipt of, and agrees to review, the Limited Warranty provisions to understand the scope of coverage and applicable exclusions.

Limited Warranty

1. Limited Warranty

Tide Craft Boats warrants to the original retail purchaser that each Tide Craft Boat and Tide Craft-manufactured component shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.

This Limited Warranty applies only to the first retail purchaser but may be transferred during the warranty period provided that:

  • Tide Craft Boats receives written notice of transfer via email within thirty (30) days;
  • The new owner’s full contact information is provided; and
  • Proof of ownership transfer is supplied upon request.

Any transfer shall not extend or restart the original warranty period.

2. Coverage Breakdown

Subject to the exclusions and limitations herein:

Hull & Structural Components

Covered for one (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship.

Inflatable Tubes

Covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects, including seam separation or fabric delamination under normal recreational use.

Powder-Coated Components

Covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects only. Surface corrosion, cosmetic oxidation, and environmental exposure are excluded.

3. Fabric & Tube Provisions

Inflatable tube materials are designed for marine environments; however, normal wear, UV exposure, abrasion, and environmental degradation are expected over time and are not considered defects.

In the event of tube fabric delamination determined by Tide Craft Boats to be a manufacturing defect, Tide Craft Boats’ sole obligation shall be repair or replacement of the affected component on a prorated basis according to the remaining warranty term.

Cosmetic discoloration, fading, or minor air loss within normal tolerances shall not constitute a warranty claim.

4. Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic imperfections not affecting performance
  • Operation without proper tube inflation
  • Operation with an outboard exceeding the maximum rated horsepower
  • Damage from collision, grounding, fire, theft, vandalism, or natural disaster
  • Racing, rental, commercial, charter, or competitive use
  • Alterations or modifications not authorized in writing
  • Environmental damage including corrosion, oxidation, acid rain, industrial fallout, pollution, tree sap, chemical exposure, or extreme weather
  • Improper trailering, lifting, storage, or maintenance

Wear components including, but not limited to, strakes, keel guards, and sacrificial protective elements are excluded.

5. Long-Term Mooring & Bottom Protection

Continuous or long-term in-water storage may accelerate corrosion, marine growth, staining, and structural deterioration if proper bottom protection and maintenance procedures are not followed.

Failure to apply appropriate bottom paint, barrier coating, sacrificial anodes, or other corrosion-prevention measures when the vessel is stored in the water for extended periods may void warranty coverage for resulting damage, including but not limited to:

  • Hull blistering or corrosion
  • Electrolysis or galvanic corrosion
  • Tube staining or seam degradation
  • Powder-coat failure

Damage resulting from prolonged in-water storage without proper protective measures is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.

6. Commercial Use Exclusion

This Limited Warranty applies solely to recreational use. Use of the vessel for rental, charter, commercial operations, racing, or other competitive activity shall void this Limited Warranty unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

7. Warranty Claim Procedure

To maintain warranty eligibility:

  • All routine maintenance outlined in the Owner’s Manual must be performed.
  • The purchaser must notify Tide Craft Boats in writing within thirty (30) days of discovery of a claimed defect.
  • The purchaser must provide reasonable opportunity for inspection.
  • The vessel or defective component must be delivered to Tide Craft Boats or an approved service provider.

No warranty service work shall be performed without prior written approval from Tide Craft Boats. Tide Craft Boats reserves the right to perform repairs itself or designate an authorized service provider. Unauthorized repairs may void warranty coverage and not be paid for.

8. Tide Craft Boats’ Sole Obligation

Tide Craft Boats’ sole and exclusive obligation under this Limited Warranty shall be, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair of the defective component;
  • Replacement with new or certified parts; or
  • Refund of the original purchase price of the defective Tide Craft-manufactured product.

Shipping, haul-out, transportation, labor not pre-approved, storage, loss of use, and incidental costs are not covered.

9. Third-Party Components

During the one (1) year Tide Craft Limited Warranty period, Tide Craft Boats will assist in facilitating warranty claims with the applicable manufacturer or replacing part as needed.

After expiration of Tide Craft’s warranty period, Tide Craft Boats may, as a courtesy and without obligation, assist the purchaser in coordinating manufacturer warranty claims, particularly for electronic components still within the manufacturer’s warranty period.

10. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

Except as expressly stated herein, Tide Craft Boats disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If any implied warranty is found to apply, it shall be limited in duration to one (1) year from the date of purchase.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tide Craft Boats shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, inconvenience, storage fees, transportation costs, or commercial loss.

The purchaser’s sole remedy shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund as provided herein.

12. Governing Law and Venue

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the sale, warranty, or use of the vessel shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
