Brandon Larson isn’t just the President of Tide Craft Boats—he’s hands-on in every aspect of production and innovation. From making crucial business decisions to personally overseeing boat design, rigging, and performance enhancements, he ensures every Tide Craft meets the highest standards. With a lifelong passion for boating, a background in mechanics and relentless drive for innovation he continuously refines and improves each model, blending functionality, performance, and luxury into every boat.

A Lifetime on the Water

Brandon’s love for boating started early. Growing up on Vashon Island in Washington, he built his first 9-foot mini hydro as a kid, sparking what would become a lifelong passion for boats. His family spent weekends cruising the Puget Sound, crabbing, and making memories on the water. As he got older, his passion for boating evolved into the performance boating world, starting with a Mirage, then moving to a Scarab, Eliminator, and eventually into the Skater Performance Boats scene.

His boating adventures took him across the Pacific Northwest, from Lake Washington and the Columbia River to Lake Chelan and Lake Roosevelt. After relocating to Arizona, Brandon quickly immersed himself in the desert boating lifestyle, regularly enjoying Lake Havasu and other local lakes. He’s also taken on the Newport-to-Catalina run as part of the Catalina Fun Run, has particpated as pit crew in offshore race boating in Florida and now spends as much time as possible on the water in San Diego Bay, running Tide Craft Boats in their natural element.

Brandon’s expertise isn’t just in boating—his background in the automotive and trucking industry has played a major role in developing Tide Craft Boats into what they are today. Owning a successful aftermarket accessories shop and later a commercial truck dealership, he honed his skills in mechanics, engineering, and procurement. His ability to source the best materials, improve mechanical efficiencies, and design high-quality products has been instrumental in shaping Tide Craft’s exceptional build quality and performance.
